The Mavericks are without a long list of key rotation players as they attempt to protect their home floor in this one. The back-to-back must also be taken into account. Luka Doncic played 41 minutes in Portland - and far more importantly - 44 minutes last night in Memphis. As much as fandom is a part of watching games for me, I cannot advise a bet on Dallas in this one. LA’s revenge angle, superior rest advantage, and greater playable depth all point to a bet on the Lakers -2.

If this one gets out of hand in the second half, the Mavs coaching staff will not be slow to sit Doncic given his recent workload. Keep this light but it goes hand in hand with the game bet on LA.

Play of the Day

• Anthony Davis over 13.5 rebounds

Fresh off a great performance in the IST final, Davis could very easily get this prop given the angles mentioned above. Derrick Lively is a great rookie story but keeping AD off the glass will be a tall task.
